I am currently working as an Emergency Responder at an industrial site. I am trained as an EMT-B, confined space rescue, hazmat response etc.... I would like to go into community firs rescue. How should I go about it. Also with all the firefighters being laid off in my state should I even try? What's employment rates for firefighters in other states?
