Seizures and 12 lead

I heard of a story of a medic intern doing a 12-lead on someone c/c of a headache only. 12-lead showed STEMI. Perhaps they were really lucky to have caught that?

Time to do some reading on ECG changes in acute Neuro patients.


In my practice any seizure patient without a clear etiology to explain the seizure, gets a 12 lead, especially a first time seizure. The person with long history of epilepsy or the hypoglycemic seizure ... not so much.
