ok so I am currently in Southern California and like I have read the job market is pretty tough and being a new Emt-b with no experience I feel that it may be even harder. I have considered relocating for a hand full of reasons the latest place I am looking in to is Seattle Wa. What is the job market for Emts good bad.Any advice on what I will need to or should do to be a better applicant

Not the easiest. To get your WA license you have to be sponsored by an agency to begin with

Don't move to Western Washington if you think finding a job will be any easier here. Theres a bountiful surplus of EMTs here.

I just heard from a friend of mine that there is a slew of paramedics working as EMTs, because there's no available paramedic slots. Awful place to work as an EMT, unless you're a firefighter.

And with the trouble trimed is going through the market might be even harder to break into. I'm just happy that I've been told that unless something odd happens I should have a medic spot full time waiting for me when I finish school.
