Hello! I'm new here, and because people automatically think I'm a girl because of my name, I'll just go by Andy (my middle name). I am a high school student going to a career school. I originally wanted to get into law enforcement, but after some tragic life events and my aptitude in the field, I decided to get into EMS. I am top of my class despite the stress I've been under, and while I've been told before, it never really hit me until earlier this week.
My grandpa died about three weeks ago, and while I didn't feel anything immediately, still in shock, that finally hit me as well. Like a sledgehammer.
Anyways, I just decided that if I'm going into this field, I should get acquainted with as many professionals as I can. Glad to be here!
