Relocating to Cali

Hey all,
My wife wants to move back to California. Anyone have an opinion on working for non-fire EMS in either Shasta or Alameda counties? I'm looking at AMR, Mercy, or Paramedics Plus.

Nothing against Fire-EMS; but after retiring after 22 years in the military I just don't have the knees or the back to work for a FD.

Thanks for any honest and objective opinions.
 
Im in oregon but applied to paramedics plus a few months back. They called me and said they were doing an Academy. Not sure if that's still going on but you should put on with them.
 
AMR is your best bet in cali they pretty much are everywhere and they pay the best. PPLUS alameda I here good and bad things let me know if you wanna know anything else
 
Paramedics Plus will probably be hiring for the forseeable future.
