Howdy! Hopefully this is the right place to post this.

My NREMT is set to expire at the end of March, so obviously I'd like to renew. The website seems a bit convoluted though, and I've become confused and frustrated!

Basically I'm confused about the refresher course, distributive education, VILT F5, and online training generally. Ideally, I'd like to take all the courses online, and I've been looking at a site like 24/7 EMS. If I were to take the right amount of credit hours (72 I believe), covering the right subject areas, could I submit it to NREMT, pay the fee, and renew?
Or do I actually need to take an in person class?

Any suggestions, suggestions, or explanations would be much appreciated!

you can do F5 online learning for the whole thing but it needs to be a live course and interactive, such as skype or something.. not pre recorded. Other non live non interactive content is only good for 10 hours. ACLS and CPR can also be done online f5 with an instructor on skype but not AHA only eACLS which the AMA and CECBEMS approves.

Now I hope that helped, maybe someone can help me now. Do we still have to mail our re certification packets in? Is it possible just to re certify online on the NREMT website?

Yes. It can be done all online. I just did mine this way.
