So i got hired and accepted. Did my paperpwork and start 3rd ride time tomorrow. Guess they recently lost their 911 contract which they did not tell me so basically be doing transfers which i dont want.

I declined a job offer for another 911 company so am going back to them to see if i can still join and i guess start apying to other 911 places.

Question is how do i quit this job. Im supposed to be at the base at 7am tmro. But dont want to waste time training me if i dont want to be there

Don't quit the job unless if you are dead-sure that the other 911 company is going to take you in, The last thing you want is ending up with two burnt bridges.

I have another job i can work at non ems. I just feel bad putting all this time training me and then me quit

I imagine most employees at the company u are wanting to quit also want a 911 position. And so does everyone else that becomes an EMT. Just realize u were very fortunate in the first place to be offered two 911 positions as your first EMS job. If you are only limiting yourself to a 911 company u might be waiting awhile.

Yea, i emailed the person who hired me at the other 911 so they should get back to me tmro. Hopefully i can at least get another interview with them if they already offered me a job.
