hey all...i was just wondering. where can i find the protocols for ohio?? i have an interview in a couple days, and i was just wanting to brush up on them!! thanks!!

Hey! That's my post! Is basically just the 110 hour currculum of NREMT plus the advanced airway course we all had to do, and the Advanced procedures unit (EKG, CPAP, BG, etc)
Also, if you have time, find out what region of Ohio you are in and look up the region protocols: Slide 65 of http://www.uhhsems.com/PDFs/Trauma Triage education - revised.pdf
For example, I'm in region 5, so I have a large binder that is my protocols book of what should be done how.
Also, be sure to know all of your specilty hospitals, both closest and alternate if applicable:
Level I Trauma Centers
Level II Trauma Centers
Level III Trauma Centers
Stroke Centers
Cardiac Cath Labs
Burn Units
Pediatric (Level I's, Level II's, and Burn Units)
Hyperbaric Chambers
Good luck at your interview!

google it!! I know out here in cali almost every county has them online. or if your close or wanna go for a drive go to the EMS office for the state.
