Does anyone have experience with the Hot Bag blanket warmer or any similar products?

For a fairly low price, we can provide another level of comfort for a large number of the people we transport. Maybe the benefit would be marginal given that the ED can already provide warmed blankets.

Any thoughts on this?

Pretty much the same thing, with some heating elements wired in.

A hospital isn't very far for me. We do have some blankets that have our logo, but we remove and change them with those toasty er blankets.

We just added something like this to our intercept trucks. We primarily use them as fluid warmers and don't actually keep any blankets in them as they are stocked on the ambulances. If we need warm fluid (or more fluid than is stocked in our primary plus secondary bags) we get a liter or two out of the warmer. We're also using some sort of insulator bag that is secured to the liter bags like a pressure infuser. I'm still undecided on their usefulness, but they seem to warm the saline adequately.
