Pittsburgh EMT/Medic Trainee?

Does anyone know anything about this program? The Pittsburgh EMS recruitment site makes reference to taking on EMT's and putting them through Medic school, but there's not much else. You can fill out an 'interest card' on the city employment site, but it doesn't give any other information either.

Has anyone worked with this program before? Can you give insight on when they normally put out applications, how long that process takes, and the general timeline for starting the program?

I dont believe they are doing that anymore. Current opening is for certified paramedics
