Personal pic on profile

I tried to change the picture in my profile, but everytime I hit "update, it puts the old pic back in there. I've removed the old pic first, I've tried just changing the pics without removing the old one, and I am sure I have the size settings correct. (I sset them in the picture itself and on the profile page.

What'd I do wrong?

Well, your photo is removed now so that must not be the problem.

What format is the photo you're trying to upload in?

It was in microsoft viewer? Then I sized it down in paint.

When you modified it in paint, it may have been saved in an incompatible format. Open the picutre in paint, and then do a "save as". Under file type, choose jpeg and see if that works.
