Ute Pass Regional Ambulance District (UPRAD) is accepting applications for a full-time paramedic position. Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in a 911 ALS transport service, be Colorado State certified, CPR/ACLS certified. Experience with rural/backcountry medicine, Mobile Integrated Healthcare, EMS education and extended transport time is a plus.
Offering competitive salary, matching state retirement plan and paid medical benefits. UPRAD operates on a modified Kelly schedule and is station based. We are located in the small mountain town of Woodland Park with a population of approximately 12K. Our district covers more than 500 square miles and includes a vast amount of National Forest.
Operating under aggressive protocols, excellent medical direction with state of the art equipment, UPRAD runs 2,200 call for service a year and transports to multiple hospitals and has an active Mobile Integrated Healthcare program. There are currently expanding opportunities for growth in Community Paramedicine and Critical Care Paramedicine.
