Paramedic recert

Hi everybody, had a quick question if any of you can help. I am recertifying my paramedic for national registry. I currently am not a working paramedic and this is my first time recertifying. Will I have any issues recertifying?

According to the NREMT if you worked 6 months as a medic you can apply for inactive status. If you have not worked at all I dont know how that goes.

Yeah, read that as well. Have not worked as a medic, just as an emt.

Call them and ask!

You have to have an MD sign off on your skills. But, they may take a refresher course in it's place.

So yes I have a refresher coming up and I will have a medical director sign me off on skills. That being said the reason I was asking is because the office was closed today and was scrambling to find an answer. Thanks for responding
