Orange county applicants beware

OCEMS recommends that each candidate for initial EMT certification call our office no less than three days after performing the live scan service to verify OCEMS receipt of background check results. See OCEMS Policy# 455.00 for more information.

I wish I had seen that when I initially did it. It would have made the transition to an orange county company much more relaxing. They should put up there that calling is the only way to verify submission of the livescan
 
yeah i was also worried i had interviews coming up from ambulance companies and they required the oc card to get interviewed , they should make it bigger , i had to re read that page about 3 times in order to have found out :wacko:
