If any EMS geek is ever in SoCal, the LACOFD museum is highly recommended. Has lots of their memorabilia there.

I’m pretty confident most LA County (and OC) fire depts still carry that damn tackle box.

Geez guys, get with the times. On the other hand, when ya ain’t got much to carry…
 
Did anyone else put a metal reinforcement plate under the handle?
 
A coworker now used to work in Southern CA 15 years ago. He says he misses having to call the hospital for every patient, and to get permission to do everything.

Can't believe CA hasn't changed much in 50 plus years

In almost 20 years I’ve called for one order. I’ve never asked permission to perform a procedure.
