I am just wondering if anyone has any idea approximately how many EMT-Bs are registered with NREMT currently....i was discussing this with a buddy of mine in class and we had no idea.

Lots? Not a precise answer, so maybe check the NREMT website or call them up and ask.

i was just screwing around on the NREMT website and couldnt find anything relevant. ill keep looking and asking and if i find an approximae number, ill report back.

I make one person.

The count begins!

Go to the NR website and check in annual reports.

A lot. ;)

Find someone there that just recieved their cert. Look at the number, that will be close to the final total!

Too many

cant seem to load the 2008 annual report PDF file, if i ever find out i'll post it up

Isn't California one of those states that requires NREMT for initial licensure, then you can let it lapse when you renew and carry just your state cert?

yea your right, but its tough finding jobs out here and the funny thing is theres more people in california than there is registered emts/ paramedics
