NYers taking NREMT

This is a question for those of you from NY who may have pursued various NREMT status. I am currently certified as NREMT-B. I recently refreshed my NY EMT-CC and am looking into NR levels for that, should I choose to leave the state anytime soon.

Have any NY EMT-CCs on here successfully applied for the I/99 certification (I know it's due to be eliminated in 3 years, but I could find myself somewhere with a bridge), or have you had to settle for the AEMT? Also, in doing so, have you taken a NREMT psychomotor exam or were you able to have your training site sign off based on the NYS exams, like the basic level?

Thanks for any insight before I go through a NR application process.

When I was doing my psychomotor for AEMT (they made us test separately), there were two CC's there with me because the representative whom they had been dealing with had told them that they could not initially certify at the I99 level anymore; that's all I got.
