NREMT research fellowship

Hey guys, For anyone with a bachelors degree that is interested; the NREMT has a EMS research fellowship available. I have nothing to do with this and am just passing along the information. Link to the opportunity can be found here.

Hey guys I spoke with the NREMT about this more and here is some what of they had to say.

"Our past fellows have secured positions as research directors in large EMS systems and academic institutions, and I have moved from a research fellow into our research director position while I finish my doctoral work.

I know that some of my colleagues have doctoral degrees in education, disaster preparedness, health policy, and health administration. Also, a lot of our nation’s leaders in EMS are physicians.

I hope this helps. If EMS research is something that you are interested in, keep an eye out for jobs here after you complete your bachelor’s degree. We hire almost every other year for the research fellow position. We’ll pay for your masters and PhD, and the contacts you make through the registry will lead to great employment opportunities."

Ya! Its to bad only 1 of these positions come around every other year :-( Hell of a deal for some lucky Paramedic with a bachelors degree.
