What's the NREMT-P like? How hard is it? For me the NREMT-B was easy. I was just wondering about the CBT for medic. I already have to retest for skills so I know the skills portion are harder
 
I found the tests and exams in school were much harder. When i did my basic it was the paper exam so I can't really compare them.

Thanks, where did you take it? I'm in NY. We were told there's lots of things on the NREMT that's isn't done in NY so worried about that

I did my training in Maine which is a NR state for B and P.
 
Any idea how many drugs showed up? For NY we only use a hand full of drugs. While the Paramedic Drug list is huge
 
Worse test I've ever taken... Question didn't even apply to paramedic. Good luck.
 
I dont remember there being specific drug questions besides a dopamine drip and a few acls drugs.
 
Expect a dopamine drip you will have to calculate for an odd dose. No answer was correct on mine and it appeared they wanted the best safest answer. I had multiple questions about racemic epinephrine, including the same question twice.

I had more but cant remember any more in particular, though out of the 70 questions I had for my NREMT-P it seemed at least half if not a couple more were either direct medication questions or were related to receptor sites and mechanism of actions of various nremt drugs
