First let me say that I DID use the search function, there just weren't any that matched correctly. This being a big deal to me, I figured I'd post a new thread rather than hope that a recycled reply worked for me as well.
I recently passed my EMT-B course. Passed the course written with a 92, passed the practicals, and went on to test with Pearson VUE.
The test (as I'm sure you all know) was a strange one. Cut me off at 77 questions. Four hours later, I receive notice that I've failed.
I register again, re-read my whole book (The new line of Brady) and... fail... again. Looking at my results, I did even worse... Not quite sure how that works.
I am struggling to remain hopeful. I want to be a competent EMT, people that were in my class that did much worse than me are passing.
I 3rd ride with an ambulance group that has all but offered me a job once I pass. I do great on calls, and with hands on.
I think the biggest thing for me is all the vocabulary. I know what to do when I am looking at a patient, I just can't seem to pass this fairly simple test.
Due to my home life being beyond hectic, I am looking for some computer based lessons, practice tests, and vocab. I tried emt-national-training.com and they... were complete BS. All tests, no study material, and several of the questions were blatantly wrong.
Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post.
