'No More Speeding Fines' for Ambulances

Ambulance drivers on emergency calls will no longer be prosecuted for speeding, the Government is expected to announce today.
Health minister Rosie Winterton will declare that all emergency services responding to 999 calls will be exempt from fines in a speech to the annual conference of the Ambulance Service Association in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
