How hard is the exam? Is it mostly protocols or do I have to know the details of the book?

Read the book three times, got a 98. Not to tough, just don't expect to wing it. Know your s#@!

Not that different from NREMT, I thought. But it includes some NYS protocol specific questions.

(I took the recert exam circa two years ago, though, and it may have changed since then.)
