New to EMT

Hey guys, first post here! So I have been interested in becoming a EMT and paramedic in the near future. After a few days of research , it seems that Grady Hospital has a EMT training program. Would i need to have previous medical experience to be admitted and if so would any community college course do? sorry for the long post and thanks for you'll guys time.

I went ahead and took a look at the website. All you need to join the program as far as medical certification goes is American Heart Association CPR certification. It is not very difficult, and you should have no problem earning it.
