New To Charlotte/EMT-B NEED Job

Just relocated from DFW/TX with EMT-B Certification. Have fulfilled reciprocity so now licensed for NC. Am actively pursuing BLS CPR AED certs. Have applied to job openings at hospitals, Medic along with visiting firehouses and have visited all in person with follow up phone calls.
I want to go on to be a paramedic, but need EMT hours first to get my EMT-P.

Any one with any suggestions, connections, tips? Really need a job.

Yes. Sent in paperwork not long ago. I was looking to see if anyone had advice for Medic and/or other employment suggestions in the area (or even the rest of state since I'm willing to travel...looking at Greensboro & JAS which is out on the coast). I've mainly only seen openings at a few VFDs for the time being, and places like Novant and Carolinas Healthcare only get a few openings at a time that are mostly for paramedics.

Just feel like I'm in a catch-22 because I want hours but being a basic with certs is tricky.
