hey everyone Im thinking about becomng an emt. I have been a correctional deputy for two years in az and everyone in cali is on a hiring freeze, so thinking about the medical field.

This field isn't much better, EMT's are a dime a dozen right now, especially here in SoCal. But, don't let that discourage you. I heard about how crappy the market was the whole time I was in school and landed a full time gig three weeks after getting certified.
