Well, hello all.

I am new here. Nice to meet you.

I just took my National Registry today for the EMT exam. I am praying that I did well. I will know in 2 weeks how I did...

Feel free to chat... take care.

Welcome, pull up a chair and stay awhile. We are a pretty open minded group and we are happy to have you here.

Also, I wish you the best of luck on the national registry.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hello Cap'n

Nice to meet you.

Well, not much to tell about me, really. I have no social life other than what the internet provides me.

I am a recent college grad (AA degree) and I completed my EMT courses this past May... and of course, the gov takes forever to get me the information for my test, in which, I never got it. They had to fax me my admission slip into the testing area... How nice huh?

The good news, it wasn't as bad as I thought... The bad news... I have to wait.

Even though my struggle with the proctor didn't help me in getting my grades sooner, (j/k)... I do hope that they were sincere that I might be able to get the results online within 2 weeks.

I am happily married, 7 years. I have 1 child who lives with us, and 2 step-children who live with their mom out of state.

I just turned 30 this summer, so old jokes are now permitted. Although for my bday my husband bought me a new car ;) - that helped alot!!

I work full time. It's a good job, but one day I like it, and the other day I really am not in the mood to come to work. (How typical is that?).

I am still on a search for the perfect friend...

Other than that... I am silently waiting for the next chapter in my life to open... not sure which way it will go.

Take care -

ABSOLUTELY

You've seen his animation in his signature, right?

Welcome.

Good luck receiving your result in 2 weeks. I took the NR here in Texas... WHOOP WHOOP. And it took about a month to see my scores online, and a week or so after that to actually get my card and certs in the mail. But I was informed today that in 2007 (Jan)... The National Registry will be COMPLETLY computerized.. test and all. And the great thing about is that scores will be received in 24 hours. AWESOME

Computerized??? WOW!!! Welcome to the '90s!!! Oops, wrong decade.

Hopefully I will get the good news... it will be nice...

Oh yeah, I saw Jon's "animation"... that's scary...
As for BSI, sorry, I am not putting a condom on my head.

Welcome!! Usually the old jokes are for those of us a bit older than 30  Lucky for you!!!

LOL Thanks for the compliment...

Unfortunately, I feel much older than 30... although I believe most of the reason is because my kids make me feel that old.

;)

I hear that if you lock them in the closet and go out drinking, heavily, on days that begin with T and S, you will start to feel younger. I have not tried this as of yet on account my kids scare me!!

Actually that sounds good... but I only drink on days that end in Y....

;)
