apparently, A Philly Fire-Rescue crew in that area once encountered the situation described in "Bringing out the dead" - the guy who stopped breathing, and his friend stuck a hair dryer down the guy's throaght to breathe for him..... burns to the airway, and the pt. never got CPR until EMS arrivial....
