New EMT Trying To Find a Job in KY

Wow that's a long title..LOL.

Hi all, my name is Jennifer and I am a newly certified EMT who is looking for a job in this field. So far, it is either 'we're accepting applications' or my "personal favorite", "you have to be 21 to work here.." :glare: One year away and...well it is just annoying.

I was just wondering if any one has any advice for me regarding where to look for EMT jobs in Central Kentucky. Any help would be awesome.. thanks!!

But I think the major issue for you is going to be your age. Most (not all) companies won't hire under 21 because of insurance issues.

Maybe you can volunteer somewhere until you are 21?? Or maybe find a place where you can just tech. And never drive. Idk it can be tough.
