Hey all, I've been stalking here for awhile and decided to join tonight, mainly because I'm bored at work. In my never-ending quest to improve my knowledge and proficiency, I was wondering if anyone can recommend reading material that they consider helpful and of high value to them.

Here's what my library consists of now:
-'Rapid Interpretation of EKGs' Dale Dubins
-'Streetmedic's Handbook'
-'60 second EMT'

Recently purchased:
-'Emergency Medicine' Tintinalli

My primary areas of interest at this point include cardiology and pharmacology, but anything would be helpful.

Thanks

~Chris

If you have mastered Dubin's ECG then your ahead of many.

I suggest Guyton's medical physiology, Merck manual, Cecil's essential medicine, Bob Page's ECG , to start out with.

Keep reading and studying, you will be ahead the game!
