Hello you all have helped me once before so I wanted to get some feedback.

I was arrested about 3 years ago for "leaving the scene of an accident"

it was a second degree misdemeanor (lowest class of misdemeanor)

and on top of it the charges were dropped

(I actually wasn't even driving which is what is kind of :censored::censored::censored::censored:ed up about it all. Long story short but as a teen I let my friend be the designated driver at the party. Well I got drunk that night and was not aware that apparently he too was drinking. He was supposed to drive me home in my car and then drive to his place and we would meet up the next day. However after dropping me off and on his way home he slammed into a pole. Still partially fault for trusting a complete bimbo and I believe I have learned from it deeply)

but some sites continue to have my mugshot posted online even after I had my arrest sealed/expunged

I got my EMT-B license about 6 months ago and was wondering how hard it would be to get on to a private ambulance company in Chicago. Superior or Medex perhaps. Really any job where I can get experience so I can hone my skills before paramedic school.

TLDR

I have a misdemeanor for leaving the scene of an accident 3 years ago
how hard will it be to get a job in the Chicago area for a private ambulance company.

If it's sealed, I don't think you should have an issue. They companies will use reputable background check places as well, not some random website.

We specifically don't allow leal advice to be given on this forum, and employment eligibility based on a past criminal issue is certainly a legal issue. Consult an attorney.
