I looked and couldn't find a thread that related to this, so I'm starting a new one.

My Medical Examiner's green card (I'm in CA, obvs.) will expire on Sept 24. My problem is that I have been very sick this past month. In Aug, I went into acute renal failure and spent five days in ICU. For some strange reason, I'm not healing up as fast as my doctors expected. I seriously doubt I'm going to be healthy enough to take the ME Physical by the 24th. Does anyone know what happens if my green card lapses? Do I have to take the ambulance driver's license test again? Do I just get the physical whenever I'm able? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You're alive! :) First off I wouldn't sweat it too much, just worry about getting healthy. If I remember correctly thought, they issues a new one to you upon successful completion of the ME approved physical examination. I don't believe you need to sit for the ADL test again, but I could always be wrong.
