for the past month I've been attending medic classes. It has been hell. The school seems credible, but my classes are off the main campus at a fire dept. and run by a different instructor. My class has fallen behind the others, and i have this suspicion that my instructor might not be the smartest (reffering to the hymen, she called it the hyoid bone). I'm wondering if i should stick it out, or drop the class and save myself $4000 and not look retarded when it comes to the registry...

What are your instructor's credentials? (did you ask before you started?)

Like any other consumer, if you feel you are not getting what you pay for, take your money somewhere else.

dude, the hymen and hyoid are practically the same thing

veneficus has good advice. i would imagine detroit has a few options for medic school. also, you could you could possibly address the issue with the school administration. could they possibly move you to another instructor?

Personally, I never got called upon to work up a hymen in the field.

Just what are they teaching in that course?

I might consider getting re-certified.
