What ambulance companies are recommended for a new EMT b in MA?

Apply broadly because EMTs are a dime a dozen. Honestly, basic EMTs especially are in a very poor position to be picky about where they choose to work.

What Ambulance companies am I missing?

I'm likely just being impatient but it's been a month since I was licensed in the state of Mass and still do not have a job. As was previously stated to me EMT - B's are a dime a dozen which is not very comforting.
I've applied to :

Trinity, Patriot, Armstrong, Pride Star and Guardian.

I know there are more ambulance companies out there I'm just not finding them. Any suggestions?

P.S.

When's a good time to call after filling out an application at the place of employment?

It wasn't meant to be comforting. It was an honest statement. The service I was a supervisor for used to receive 20-30 applications for every EMT position filled. Keep in mind that this was in a rural area where the density of EMTs was much lower than in an urban setting.

I always suggested a week to ten days.

I prefer honesty over anything else and I appreciate your help. I'm starting to see how long the process is with becoming hired. I'm just getting frustrated but I'm not known to give up without a major fight. I'm in the process of becoming National certified.

I'm starting to see how the hiring process works... application... they test a group of emt applicants then if they past then maybe get an interview and maybe get hired.

Thank you for talking with me.. I'm getting frustrated...

Dont get frustrated man. I've been in your boat since October when I passed my NREMT...its just about persistence at this point. Just apply everywhere you can think of that your EMT skills might be needed, and dont just restrict yourself to paid jobs, apply with volunteer stuff too...check with community pools, volunteer with the Little League, theme parks, etc. Just keep at it and something will come your way

It will happen in good time.
