Hey guys,

just wanted to pop up here to see if anyone has read the memoir by Kevin Grange.

“Lights and Sirens”.
I find it helpful in terms of the challenges during field training. For EMTs or Paramedics

that’s it!—

Does anyone know if Peter Canning still writes EMS books?

I started reading his books in high school and that’s what got me into this business.

Lol small world. Grange was briefly a paramedic at my agency.

As far as the book being helpful? Eh, I usually try not to buy into another persons individualized experiences.

Personally it irks me when others get tunnel visioned on another persons experiences.

I’ll never forget another paramedic telling me I’d never get through paramedic school while also having our first child. Idiot.

YMMV. It could be a fun read though//shrugs//

"Famed Daniel Freeman UCLA paramedic program". I was out right then. Though, lucky MF works for Jackson Hole Fire. Talk about a dream location.
