Hey I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the lifeline EMS offer letter for an EMT position means if I sign it does that mean I’m committing six months and I can’t change my mind about working there? they gave me a job offer, but I had an interview with Falck I kind of want to see what Falck tells me first, but the one-way interview said it can take up to two weeks to hear back but lifeline wants to know if I wanna take the job by Monday, which doesn’t give me enough time to see what the other company tells me. if I signed the offer letter with lifeline and I get a job offer from Falck can I not leave lifeline ambulance? They told me that training doesn’t start until June 23 so that’s my start date and today is May16th. so I was thinking if I accept the job offer from them and Falck gets to me before June 23, can I withdraw from working at lifeline technically since I haven’t started orientation or training with them they wouldn’t be losing anything right? This would be my first emt job so i am a bit confused i don’t want to sign something that binds me to it but id i don’t get a job offer from Falck i would be left with no job. Lifeline also gave me the perfect shift for school so i can manage both but its not 911.
