Lee County Florida EMS

I'll be relocating shortly. Does anyone have experience with Florida EMS other than their own state medic program? I'll be in the area of Lee county. Any advise on the area or job reports would be appriciated. Also starting pay as an EMT-B and EMT-P.

I work for lee county ems...they have a hiring 1-2 times a year from what i habe seen...igot hired in july...187 tested for 7 posotions...everyone starts as an emt...starting pay for 24/48 is ~47k includomg the built in ot...medics make ~56k...very competitive but so worth it...i have not a single bad thing to say about the job.

....or theres ambitrans, the private ambulance company who do all the non emergent interfacility...not sure of their pay but it is a private so im imagining its low
