Thinking of moving to Kansas. Anybody have anything i should know about Kansas as far pay, treatment, and what kind of scope they have for EMT basics?
 
Depending on where you go it is hard to find employment as a Basic in some of your bigger cities in Kansas as they prefer full Paramedic trucks.
 
Lawrence is served by Douglas Co and they are paramedic. Topeka will have EMT jobs. But your best bet is to get out to some of the more rural counties.
 
Thanks for the info. I am planning to work my way to paramedic, but it's gonna take a while working around my new son and my wife going to school
