Congrats. Don't worry if it's not your dream job. I think that working at an IFT makes you a better emt/medic in the end. And you get the learn the stuff they don't teach you in school--- moving pts, loading the stretcher, dealing with pt's family and hospital staff. Hell, even learning how to drive an ambulance and get along with difficult partners. Just don't get lazy. Transport jobs are what you make them.
