put two or three 'red bags' in your back pocket! i didn't think it was really necessary until yesterday we had a pt who vomited a lot in her apt after arrival. not enough time to find some other bag and didn't want to make them throw up on themself, so luckily my partner (who i learned this from) and I were carrying two each, and we went through three of them in the apartment ;].

trust me, if you keep them on your person you'll notice you're going to use 'em!

Next evolution - for the stupid drunk college kid - make a slit along the opening edge of a big red bag. Place the slit off strap behind the head of the inebriated subject, and the bag in the front... just hold the bag open to allow them to puke with ease.

They are at the hospitals. Just be friendly with the Environmental Techs your next visit and they can hook you up with a couple if needed.
