Juggling Radios

Its a CAD system. We cover alot of county around us so county dispatch has to contact our city which then dispatches us.

Murphy's Law... anything a dispatcher can do wrong... they will do wrong... j/k :P I LOVE ALL DISPATCHERS!!!
 
We are not a 24/7 department with no regular schedules so the text message system could get a bit hard to work out. That and we'd be asking a fire alarm office that dispatches 80 departments and probably close to 500 calls a day to change their system for a couple of the departments who don't use one fire alarm office exclusively AND don't have their own dispatcher. I think there are only 3 or 4 here that are dispatched by more than one alarm office AND don't have a full time dispatching office to reroute the calls/handle mutual aid calls.
