I have always wanted to be a paramedic I am getting ready to start my classes and I am super excited but now that I am getting ready to start people are telling me it is really hard to get job?? now I am really discouraged is this true???

As was mentioned, completely depends on your area. It also varies based on what kind of job you want and what terms you're willing to accept. A career firemedic position making 80000 a year? Yeah, that's going to be tough to come across. Mainly IFT medic working SSM for 8.00/hr? That's far more accessible. Just saying you want to be a paramedic leaves a lot of details out. Let us know what kind of position in particular you're working towards and we'll be happy to share some info :)
