i just get my emt-b certificate about for an month. and still looking for a emt position..... i have try almost every company in nyc , transcare midwood and seniorcare. but im still waiting and transcare dont hire me because i dont meet their need. and i thinking ems system is bad in nyc or maybe usa. because they dont have a complete system to training people like policeman firefighter nurse doctor. we have to renew our certificate for every 4 year and they dont have to.

A) please use proper grammar. If this is how your resume looked, it's not wonder you did not get hired.
B) the American EMS system is broken. Very broken.
C) you're in a very saturated place for EMTs. Give it some time. For the most part EMTs are a dime a dozen to the companies

Also...medicine is dynamic...every medical provider has to do continuing education and recertification cycles to make people keep up, or attempt to make people keep up, with current trends in evidence based medicine.

Seconded on TJs points A and B.

Also, not sure how it is in NYC, but be sure to apply to literally every company. Doesn't matter whether they say they're hiring or not, put together a serious application with as much of everything as you can. Go the extra mile and get your basic online NIMS, ICS 100, ICS 200, etc. all done beforehand. Polish your resume. I even included a short cover letter with my application.
