Impulse is always hiring because people are always leaving.
They'll ask you a few basic questions and say ER you'll get a call/email within the week. If you got an interview and don't come off as a complete *******, you'll get hired. Standards are low, turnovers high, pay is low-average (09.50-10.00 IIRC). You'll get run hard on discharges, vent dialysis transfers with an RT, and 5150 transfers.
It's a job, but you should continue looking elsewhere. If you want to stay in LA, try for McCormick, AMR, CARE, Bowers, all big companies with an above average reputation. Or even better go work somewhere other than LA (Ventura, San bernaghetto, riverside, kern).
I worked there for almost a year until I left for Kern county, and it was the best decision I could've made for my career.
