I'm thinking of being an EMT...

Dear God, he assigned us our days for clinicals and my schedule is so freaking crazy. The 12 hour shift clinicals are only available during the day and because I work at night I have to take the night before the clinicals off, sleep at night, wake up to do clinicals all day until 8pm, go to work at 10pm, and get home at 7am. Life is crazy. Trying to fit that in with working my normal schedule and school as well, how did you guys pull that off?? I couldn't imagine having a family as well as dealing with all of this. I have to fit in studying for all my lectures whenever the heck I can, as well as eat and sleep. I'm almost wondering if taking the accelerated two month course was a good choice, because there was a four month course as well........... Oh well. I have my physical today, get my shots as well, and my first clinical on the ambulance is Saturday. Do I bring a lunch or what? Any advice? I have to bring my skills list and get some guys to show me stuff and check me off on it. I figure I'll bring my textbook as well if it gets slow I can study. Am I missing anything? I bring my own stethoscope, right?
Thanks thanks thanks! :)
