:)I passed my Paramedic classes, practicals and National Registry. I took my registry last Monday the 4th of August and got the results on Tuesday. I passed on my first try. Out of my class that have tested so far 5 out of 9 have passed. I of them passed registry but failed on one of her practicals. It was the static cardiology. She went this passed Tuesday and tried again but she failed it again. Now she has to take all of her practicals again. I feel really bad for her because she really needs the job for her and her 2 daughters. But she will hopefully get it soon. Anyway, I am very happy to be done.

Just remember if an old man like me (40 years old) can do it, anyone can.

I worked my first day as a medic this past Monday. I had a normal day for our service. I had a few ALS and a few BLS calls. One cardiac/chest pains, one possible fracture, one BLS call that turned out to be a ALS arrest call. This one made it. No one died on me even though that one tried I did not let him. So now for my next shift lets see how it goes.

Way to go! I am starting paramedic school next month at the ripe age of 39. It is nice to know that there is a pot of gold at the end of that long rainbow. Good luck, and I hope your future is a bright as it has started.

Congratulations Pete !! I passed all my paramedic tests the first time through just last December at the age of 44. All your hard work has paid off.

Good work and welcome to the tribe. (PS - I was 50 when I passed - I think I was the oldest person ever to go thru the program.)
