How do practice NREMT quizzes compare to the real thing?

Hello!

I finished my EMT-B training in January and I am due to take the NREMT April 3rd (the day after my birthday, of course :glare:).

I was wondering if practice quizzes actually prepared you for the real thing, or is it a waste of time and money.

In addition to the books I purchased for school, I also got the EMT-B Exam by Kaplan, as well as the test prep exam from Learning Express. I took all of their practice quizzes and scored in the 80's for both of them.

Does this mean I should do well on the actual test?

Nervous!!

Thank you for your time!

I hate to be that guy but this has been covered multiple times.

Yes, they're effective. If you're consistently getting 80s you're probably fine but that doesn't add the anxiety variable of the actual test.

Good luck.

Good to know. I will search deeper and let this thread die. Thanks anyways.
