Looking for a change of scenery? We are looking for EMT, Intermediate and Paramedics for full-time about 45 miles south of Houston, on the Gulf Coast. Straight down 288 from the Med Center.

The company is a 501c3 nonprofit EMS service that covers the city of Lake Jackson, TX. Normal staffing is P/B. We cover approximately 30 square miles of 911 coverage area, with about 35,000 residents. Frazier ambulances with Dodge chassis, powerloads, new and good equipment, etc. We also do interfacility transfers for our local hospital and a stand-alone ER. There is no dialysis or doctor's appointment.

The compensation is good. A lot better than most places.

Brother, if I wasn't so content at my current job I might have taken a swing.

Just curious, how's their retirement? I've perused through the site before, but it was somewhat limited on info.

Generic 457b, simple Fidelity IRA through a local broker, 3% company match. Nothing remarkable, but it is something.

I personally would love Hall if it was in Texas. Harvey Hall is one of those people who really wants to make things better.

They've got a good reputation through the region. This would be a great agency for those of you that want to move to TX

It is, and there's spots open.

I'm also following dollars and retirement out, but it's a decent place to get feet wet.
