hi all, kindly i need a small favor

I live in Kuwait and I am English Arabic translator. I hope to be hired in one of US army in Kuwait. does anyone know the email or the company that i can submit my resume?

Are you a Paramedic or EMT? Do you wish to work with EMS? This is an Emergency Medical forum.

No, I am an Transltor and gratuated from Faculty of Arts, English department. I hope work with any company which can hire me with US army bases in Kuwait

Remoo, you would be well-served to visit the US Embassy in Kuwait.

But I am not American I am Egyptian lives in kuwait

We don't particularly care what country you're from, bro. If you have the language skillset, you may be able to work pretty much anywhere. It's dependent on you.

I'd recommend a trip to the Embassy or a US Consulate and an old-fashioned face-to-face meeting with the people who live and work this kind of stuff. We're a bunch of paramedics from across the globe who really don't have much in the way of translating ability.

From my own experiences in Kuwait, we didn't really need a translator at all- the Kuwaitis spoke English quite well, and we never really had reason to talk to anyone else. Iraq's closed, so you missed that boat (there is still a need for translators, but I think that the locals have that cornered. Afghanistan is still there, but not as much, different language, and the locals do have translators.

Perhaps you should consider applying for American residency so you can come over and start working with the government. The ability to speak and read Arabic is not common here, and is practically guaranteed to earn a qualified applicant *decent* salaries.

Taking a US visa without job offer is so difficult even the tourist one.

The main reason that I asked this question that I have already had an offer with hiring company in order to work as a translator with US army base here in Kuwait.

But they will take half of my salary so I am searching such a way to reach the HR department to be hired in the US base directly

Thank you heaps for your help

Eww...those sound like horrible terms. I'm grateful to be of the First World, where the standard of living and employment contracts are better than that.

Not an EMS topic. Question asked and answered. Thread closed.
