Help With Getting Ready for the NREMT?

Hey guys, I need some help for one of my partners who is having trouble in his EMT basic course. The course already finished, and he still has to make up a written test. With that being said, there is an extra day for retakes, but since everything was not finished before the last day of lectures, he has to wait 2 weeks longer to take his NREMT, because the registration date for the test in a few days has already passed and he's not considered eligible for the test. Any advice that I should give him? This will be his third time taking the written test (Special Populations) and I see him study a lot but somehow he keeps failing, even though every other test he passed first try (apparently). I'm worried for him taking his NREMT. Help?
 
If he needs more time to study, he should hold off on NREMT. I suggest he focuses on passing the class first.
 
Or use a test prep service. There are several out there.
 
I use the L C Ready and love it. It tells you why the right answer is the right one- and its written by the guys who wrote the NREMT (which I dont know if it makes a difference or not). But it takes it level by level and different stages of each level. Its easier for my learning system anyway.
