Hello!

My name is Jaysen and I am an EMT Basic from Oregon. Moving to Illinois in a week and transferring my EMT there. I am getting ready to start my medic classes. I found your site after doing a google search and this seems like a great place for some EMS related discussion.

I was a member of EMT City for awhile but the atmosphere over there just doesn't seem very pleasing or appropriate. Has anyone else had any problems over at that site? I would like to know your experiences both good and bad. It just seems like there is more whining and arguing over there than anything. Not to mention all the sex talk and porn on the cams.

I am just looking for some good open-minded EMS discussion to help expand my learning without getting bashed on all the time. So what's it like here?

That's cool. so are links to other EMS sites allowed? I have one going, it's just starting up but was wondering if I could do a link exchange. I am non-competitive, not looking to earn money. Would be nice to link to eachothers sites. Not sure if the admin here allows it or not.

We allow link posting for advertising purposes after you have achieved 10 non-advertising related posts. This is so our members get a chance to know you first.

That sounds fair, after all you wouldn't just want people signing up and spamming and then leaving so I see your point.

yes, **removed by ffemt8978** is my site. I have it running on a personal home linux server. Besides being involved in EMS, I do alot of stuff with unix including hosting my own websites and email. It's just a hobby of mine, I don't care to make any money from it.

My site is just starting and definitely needs work. I try to work on it as much as I can when time allows. I noticed that you and I use the same flashchat software, that's cool. So what do you think about FlashChat?

It would be fun to exchange links and create a big community.
